Products Feed for PrestaShop

Products Feed exports your PrestaShop catalog as a structured data feed that advertising platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Google Shopping can read and sync. Instead of manually uploading CSVs or maintaining a spreadsheet, the module generates an always-current feed URL that platforms can pull on a schedule — keeping your ads and shopping listings accurate as your inventory changes.
What You Can Do
- Generate product feeds compatible with Facebook / Instagram catalogs and Google Merchant Center
- Export all product combinations and variants with their own images, prices, and attributes
- Support multiple languages and currencies so you can run separate catalogs for different markets
- Schedule automatic feed regeneration with a cron job so platforms always get fresh data
- Use the feed URL directly in Facebook Commerce Manager or Google Merchant Center — no file uploads needed
Getting Started
- Go to Modules > Module Manager, find Products Feed, and click Configure
- Review and adjust which products and attributes are included in the feed
- Copy the generated feed URL from the module configuration page
- Follow the catalog setup guide to connect the feed to Facebook Commerce Manager
- Set up a cron job to regenerate the feed regularly (daily is recommended for most stores)

Feed Generation

- Cycle Generation — Cycle mode splits your product catalogue into fixed-size batches so that feed generation completes reliably even on shared hosting with tight PHP time limits.
- Manual Generation — Manual Feed Generation.
- Generation Options — Control the XML output format of your product feed and configure how the module triggers background feed generation via cURL — including timeout, SSL, and cache randomization settings.
Products & Catalog
- Combinations — Control how product combinations (size, colour, material variants) appear in your Facebook catalogue — as individual variant entries, as a single representative product, or as a plain simple product.
- Category Inclusion/Exclusion — Control which of your store's categories appear in the Facebook and Instagram product catalogue feed — either by blocking specific categories or by allowing only the ones you select.
- Product Exclusions — Keep specific products out of your Facebook and Instagram catalogue feed without unpublishing them from your store or changing their category.
- Identifier & Description — Control which value your feed uses as each product's unique ID and which text field Facebook receives as its description.
- Product Special Fields — Product Special Fields (Size, Color, Material Mapping).
Pricing & Shipping
- Pricing, Tax & Stock — Controls how prices appear in your product catalogue feed — whether taxes are included, how discounts are presented, and which products appear based on stock availability.
- Shipping Carriers — Add accurate delivery costs to every product in your Facebook and Instagram catalogue feed so shoppers see the real price before they click through to your store.
- Per-country Shipping Modes — For every country in your PrestaShop shipping zones, you choose exactly how its shipping prices appear in the feed: skip the country entirely, publish one line for the whole country, or expand into a separate line per state or region.
- Shop Checkout URL — When a customer clicks Buy on your Facebook or Instagram Shop, the module automatically fills their PrestaShop cart and redirects them to your checkout — no extra configuration required beyond pasting one URL into Meta Commerce Manager.
- Image Options — Control which image size, how many images, and in what order your products appear in the Facebook and Instagram catalogue feed.
Google Shopping
- Category Association — Map your store's categories to Google's official product taxonomy and assign age group and gender signals per category — so Facebook and Instagram can correctly classify and surface your products to the right audiences.
- Taxonomy Download — Before you can assign Google Product Categories to your shop categories, you must download the official Google taxonomy list.
- Custom Labels Overview — Custom labels let you attach extra product data to your catalogue feed so you can create targeted ad sets and apply dynamic overlays inside Facebook and Instagram Ads Manager.
- New & On-sale Labels — Automatically tag products in your feed as "new", "on sale", or "recently updated" so Meta's catalogue can surface them in targeted ad segments.
- Bestsellers & Trending — Tag your best-selling and trend-rising products automatically in your catalogue feed so Facebook and Instagram can use that data to create targeted product sets and ad overlays.
Advanced & Operations
- Feed Generation per Shop — Feed Generation per Shop — Languages, Currencies & Countries.
- Feed Protection (Basic Auth) — Protect your product feed XML files with a username and password so that only authorised crawlers — like Facebook's Catalog Manager — can download them.
- Secret Key & Generator Auth — The module uses two separate protection mechanisms — a secret key that gates who can trigger feed generation, and HTTP Basic Auth credentials that let the generator pass through a server-level password on your site.
- Error Bypass & Auto-fill — These settings let you keep products in your feed even when they are missing required fields — instead of excluding them, the module fills in defaults or relaxes the validation rules.
Troubleshooting
- Debugging Tools — Limit or focus feed generation during troubleshooting — cap total product count or restrict generation to specific product IDs — without touching your live cron schedule or production configuration.
- Skipped & Error Diagnostics — After each feed generation, the module shows you exactly which products were left out and why — so you can fix catalog issues before they affect your Facebook or Instagram campaigns.
- FAQ — Answers to the most common questions about the Facebook & Instagram Product Catalogue Feed Pro module — covering feed URLs, missing products, image problems, category filtering, multistore, pricing, cron setup, and more.
